I make Flat top guitars in three sizes 00, Jumbo and 22 inch. The 00 (13") and the Jumbo (18") share similar appointments. They have 3 " thick sides, for fast response, no binding, pinless bridges, soundhole rosettes, open head stocks and adjustable necks. They are designed for fingerpicking, and are usually 12 frets to the body. Fingerboard widths are to your order, and woods are usually domestics.

The necks do not have truss rods, and are adjustable for tilt at the heel with a hardened steel cap screw.

I often use the lightest woods possible, such as Mahogany or Cypress for the backs and sides, and either Spanish or Aromatic Cedar or Appalachian Red Spruce for the tops. I have some 100 year old Spruce salvaged from piano soundboards for tops for special order. There is also a limited amount of Chestnut for exceptionally sweet guitars.

I also make Spruce back guitars, which are extremely sweet and responsive, with a mellow full range tone, and very good projection

I use a modified fan bracing for a more Old Fashioned Blues sound, and concentrate on light action, fast response and wide fingerboards for bare finger picking. I can also make you nylon string guitars, and multi-string instruments, tenors and so on.

The 22 inch is special order only, and is the world's largest guitar. It is better used where expanded bass response is desired, such as seven and eight string instruments.

The base price for guitars is $300.00, $400.00 with Spruce or Chestnut tops.
