There is
only one body style available, as illustrated, Archtops are usually 18"
wide jumbos, carved top and back. The default is all African Mahogany
or Sapele. although many other woods are suitable.
These are
amazingly good Jazz guitars, usually 12 frets to the body, but cutaways
are available. Three inch deep sides. The two upper bout
soundholes are preferred, although more traditional "F" holes are an
option. Necks are adjusted with a cap screw in the heel in the old
European Pattern.
The guitar scale, fingerboard width, number of
fretted strings and materials are all determined by the customer. Truss
rods are not usually fitted but are an option.
The $600.00
price would be all mahogany top and back. All solid wood, finished with a
minimal few coats of lacquer.
Tone wood back and sides, Spruce
tops, Rosewood or Ebony fingerboards are extra cost options.
